Zappit and Ponti’s Italian restaurant with QR Code campaign

POSTED BY on Jun 14 under QR Codes

Ponti’s Italian restaurant placed QR Coded ads on the tables in their London restaurants in Oxford Circus and Duke Street.

The boxes are Zappit’s newest product named SmartBox. The company has recently included NFC and QR Codes in a pilot project in Reading.

Recent research showed that 50% of the population in the UK is owning a smartphone, which is 1/4 or 23% of adults and 1/3 or 34% of teenagers are using their handset during mealtimes.

So Ponti’s campaign could be a very good move.
