US court denied Apple’s request to speed up ban on Samsung devices

The US court of appeals has denied Apple‘s appeal to speed up the ban on Samsung devices.

The district court has rejected Apple’s expedited appeal of a sales ban on Samsung smartphones and stated that the company must wait to have its request heard, after losing the permanent injunction motion in 2012.

The judge told Apple that it has to make do with the $1 billion fine.

Samsung stated that the company is confident that the commission will reach a determination that will affirm Samsung’s opinion that patent law must not be allowed nor manipulated to provide one company a monopoly over rounded corners and rectangles, nor over technology that has been improved by Samsung and other manufacturers.
