Unicef launched its Speak Up for Children mobile campaign and is experiencing success among mobile users, whose opinions and awareness have notably increased and the likelihood of making donations has seen measurable growth.
Behind the campaign is Oglivy & Mather, one of the largest marketing companies in the world.
Unicef is not new to the mobile marketplace and have already established a mobile optimized website and is using different mobile techniques in order to achieve its goals.
Unicef has included efforts such as smartphone applications, QR Code projects and many other forms of mobile friendly marketing that maintain the interest around a cause.
Unicef has determined that there is a 5.5% increase in the positive opinions that people have formed about charity.
A report also suggests that users are 4.3% more likely to make a donation after being exposed to the campaign.
