One of the most stunning out of the total 50 national pavilions at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2012 is the one that represents Russia.

World Architects is calling it “the most popular in the Giardini”, Russia’s pavilion is shocking everyone with its QR Coded surface.

Visitors are encouraged to enter the city of innovation named “Skolkovo” and use iPads to reveal the concept for the actual Skolkovo – Russia’s equivalent of a Silicon Valley, a city in planning located near Moscow.

The commissioner of the pavilion is saying that Skolkovo is a high tech project, which is all about innovation, new level of living and how modren technologies and science are coming into our lives.

The exposition is really exceptional, as they have created a space that is virtual and physical at the same time.

The Biennale’s 13th edition will run until the 25th of November.
