A Swedish provider of mobile payment solutions, Seamless, has announced that its adding a P2P payment option to its QR Code mobile payment platform.
The new functionality will allow users to make payments to others directly into their bank account, independent and free of bank affiliation.
Seamless is leading the race in the technology, as their latest SEQR option is adding the ability of sending money to other account without any charge and it is great for internet trading, splitting restaurant bills and purchasing items.
SEQR system was launched last year and it is letting users to pay by scanning the QR Codes at a POS terminals with a mobile device.
Seamless is planning to launch the platform internationally.
The peer to peer option is available to SEQR users in Sweden by downloading the new version of the application.
To transfer money, the sender enters the mobile number of the recipient. Funds can be received by anyone, whether they use the SEQR application or not.
A message to the recipient’s device is offering an invitation to download the SEQR application where the bank account can be stored. The data is never exposed to the sender.
Seamless is stating that their transaction exchange network are handling over $3 billion transactions internationally.
