QR Codes appear on different historic places across the North Wales in order to provide virtual tour for visitors and also to locals who want to learn more about their history.
The participants in the project have realized that there is a great deal to connect history with website, as plaques may not provide all the interesting information and facts that people might want to learn.
The details are bringing history to life, but those details are undiscovered usually as the information is not provided in a location in which visitors are more likely to be interested.
The two volunteers that have created the project believe that QR Codes are the perfect solution to the problem that the country is having in sharing the stories behind its buildings, historical locations and landscapes.
The QR Codes were created for some of the most interesting places in Wales and were affixed to their plaques in order to encourage tourists to scan and discover more about their significance and history.
