QR Code on a pavement in Portugal

POSTED BY on Aug 28 under QR Codes

The cal├žada portuguesa is a traditional Portuguese pavement used in main pedestrian streets and areas of Portugal for hundreds of years.
At first sight the pavement looks like a natural QR Code made from white and black stones of limestone and basalt.
It is being reported that the QR Code placed in Chiado, Lisbon is impossible to scan in a sunlight and if you manage to scan it will link you to tourist information in Portuguese and English.
The QR Codes on a reflective surface are not a good idea, but with some creativity there is a possible way to take advantage of sunlight in a QR Code campaign.
