The Nokia smartphone owners will be able to interact with NFC-enabled posters in the Mall of the
UAE. Users will be able to join a contest and win a movie ticket or refreshments and thereafter to download a cinema schedule.
The projects’ approach to NFC tech is simple and is aiming to get customers comfortable using it.
The company is working on “Open NFC” in the UAE, a project designed to allow users to share content with others that own an NFC device. They will be able to share websites, mobile apps and many others by using smart posters of NFC tags.
