In Taipei, Taiwan at Computex, Intel demostrated a new option of their Ultrabooks that will allow users to charge their smartphones wirelessly from their laptops.

The company stated they are able to transfer up to 3 Watts through the system, just enough to charge almost any mobile device.

The demonstration has shown an Android smartphone and an Acer Aspire laptop.

The laptop’s screen will show the user a message and the phone will ping to let the user know it is charging the device.

The new feature means that you will never again have to worry about your USB cable or charger if you forget it, however, you must not forget the laptop charger if you plan to charge your phone from just one battery.
