Heinz with QR Code campaign

POSTED BY on Nov 5 under QR Codes

Heinz’s first QR Code campaign was last year for Veterans Day and gave their support for the Wounded Warrior campaign.

When the code was scanned a thank you note was sent to a veteran and 57 cents were sent for the project.

It was a great opportunity for Heinz to communicate with their users as well as support a good cause to show customers that they care about society.

This year’s project is related to the environment.

Heinz placed QR Codes on the bottles and asking their customers “Guess what the bottle is made of?”

Users scan the code and it will explain that they are plant bottles, which means that 30% of the material is renewable, made from sugar cane.

Heinz has a great success with their QR Code initiatives, as that are an effective way to engage with customers while they are enjoying or waiting for their food.
