Google includes QR Codes for airport check in

Google is continuing to improve its Google Now app to make it even more effective.

With the Google Search new update, the app will be able to monitor the user’s email address for boarding passes and then bringing up QR Codes automatically for check in when a person arrives to the terminal – identical feature offered by Apple’s Passbook.

Both features are available to United Airlines for now. Additionally to the new feature, Google included recommendations for what to do nearby, like movies, museums, etc.

The app is also able to hook into even more applications, such as product searches, Google + and music recognition.

The update is available for devices running on Android Jelly Bean.
