Everything Everywhere is rolling out 4G in 9 cities in the UK

POSTED BY on Jan 31 under Mobile & Web News

In December 2012, EE has promised that a number of cities will get a super fast network update by March this year, meaning that Coventry, Bradford, Leicester, New Port, Luton, West Bromwich and Rotherdam will be the next in line.

But today Stockport, Bolton, Wolverhampton, Sunderland, Chelmsford, Sutton Coldfield, Southend-on-Sea, Amersham and Hemel Hempstead are all 4G.

The network managed to reach 27 towns since its launch in October last year and the launch is way ahead of schedule, so now 45% of the UK population can make use of the super fast network.

It is another story if the users can afford EE’s 4G as the launch tariffs are not cheap but with Ofcom running the spectrum people could see more 4G offerings by the end of the year.
