Briggs & Stratton includes QR Code labels to replace operator’s manual

POSTED BY on May 9 under Mobile & Web News, QR Codes

The Briggs & Stratton Corp. has begun placing QR Code labels on their engines, giving the owners instant access to the important information about the equipment only by using their smartphone.

The QR Code labels will provide access to a customized mobile website and give information about the specific engine including illustrated parts list, GPS dealer locator, customer service representatives and operator’s manual, so the owner is not going to search for his equipment’s model.

Briggs & Stratton has formed a cross-functional team, in order to implement the new QR Code labels, that include representatives from the marketing, operations, sales and IT departments.
