PayDragon is a new app focused on mobile payments and it is connecting people directly to the products.
The app is working with a few merchants and food trucks in order to speed up the ordering process. It works very simply – you run the app and it shows the nearest food trucks and restaurants, choose a restaurant, then a simplified menu with approximately six items pops up, you pick a product and the application charges your credit card, when your order is completed you’ll get a message with directions for pick up. When you get to the restaurant, all you have to do is say the number of the order and get your food.
At the same time, merchants need access to a dashboard of the incoming orders, listed chronologically in order to ensure that they are completed on time.
PayDragon insisted that the menus contain only a few of the most popular items and do not include the option to customize the order, so the app remains simple and works properly.
The company has eleven partners in Los Angeles and four in Texas, but they are planning to expand and in the next few days they are expected to work with Murray’s Cheese in New York City, which will include a QR code, that will bring user to the app.
The app is available for Android and iPhone and the company is considering Windows Phone in the near future.
PayDragon is making money by taking a cut of each transaction, covering the credit card transaction fees as well.
