Pitney Bowes announced a report showing the levels of QR Code usage in the United States and Europe and the numbers are very interesting.

The survey include 2,000 users in the United States and 1,000 in the UK, Germany and France.

In Europe only 15% of people have used QR Codes.

Among the countries that were participating in the survey, on average QR Codes have been used by 18-34 year olds, representing 27% overall and high usage among 25-34 year old.

The report also shows that most QR Code scans are made from print adds – 15% have scanned a QR Code in a magazine, 13% on posters and 13% on their mail.
